From 40-hour payroll cycles to 30 minutes — with zero PAYE errors.
Meridian Properties manages 1,200+ residential units across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Before AnooreHR, payroll was three accountants, four spreadsheets, and a monthly 40-hour firefight.
The problem
Meridian ran payroll across four subsidiaries in three separate spreadsheets — one per entity, plus a master consolidation. PAYE computation was manual, which meant small data-entry slips turned into FIRS filing errors every quarter.
When the NTA 2025 bundle landed, Adaeze's team faced a choice: spend six weeks rewriting the spreadsheet formulas, or find software that handled the date-routing automatically.
Why AnooreHR
The profile-pack architecture was the hook. Adaeze described it as "software that reads the tax act for you." Payroll for October 2025 continued to use Finance Act 2020 rules, while January 2026 onwards automatically switched to NTA 2025 — no toggles, no manual migration.
Intercompany transactions post matching entries in both books automatically, and month-end consolidation ran in under 30 seconds instead of five days.
Results
In the first quarter, Meridian eliminated every PAYE filing correction. The finance team reclaimed an estimated 120 hours per month across the three accountants. Adaeze now reviews the consolidated P&L on day 1 of each month, not day 6.
We don't think about payroll anymore. It runs, filings match, and I get my weekend back. Rent Relief under NTA 2025 was configured in ten minutes, not two weeks of spreadsheet rewrites.
